sensitive over the years

that might be brought up by the public , regulatory bodies are there to
make sure that films and other forms of media follow the rules and regulations
in place
- What regulatory bodies look after
you sector (e.g OFCOM , BBFC etc)
The bbfc is the regulation body for film and is there to
help point out issues that might be raised when it comes to certain films, the
bbfc also know as the British board of film is a non-government body which has
been set up since 1912 originally looking at just cinema but has expanded to
dvd and video release since 1984

the regulatory bodies in regulating your sector?
the bbfc is very effective and helps give the public opportunities
to bring up any worries they may have , the bbfc mainly focus on protecting

your sector in terms of regulation and censorship?
All films must have an age ratting , certain things will
need changing if the bbfc feel like a certain scene or film is unsuitable for

or concern
- Give an example of at least
one controversial media product produced by your sector. Talk
about
- What was the controversial about

removed by orders from Kubrick himself after receiving death threats
against his family , there was also concerns for the film because of the

and not released until after Kubrick death

- How do some of these job roles
overlap and interconnect?
Many different departments link in many different ways and
work with different apartments there will always be more than one department
working on the same job this will also included runners as runners work in different
apartments
- How can these job roles evolve and
develop over time? (E.g working way up the ladder)
Job roles can develop if you make a good impression one of
the ways to clime up the ladder is by starting off as a runner, another way is
by being an assistant can also help clime the ladder if you have the right boss
- Why do you
need regularly update knowledge and skills to work in this
industry and what courses/training/professional development can you do?
The film industry has to keep changing as times change so
dose views this means that producers, script writers and directors have to make
sure they make the right move and make sure that they don’t accidentally offend
others with views or references that might be considered out dated a good
example is the out rage that was caused after the trailer was released for Zoolander
2 due to a joke that was in very bad taste and would of suited the early 2000s
but was very outdate for 201.
Knowlegend on equipment is also required as things equipment
is updated all the time to keep up with the times and also provide films with
better quality
